Bye Holidays!

It's almost preposterous how our xmas, new year and cny holidays whizzed past in a flash. :/ Contrary to last year where I finished 5 bottles of pineapple tarts all by myself and drank bubble tea every single day during the festive season, i managed to exercise a little self-control this year..barely snacked but i saved my stomach for huge meals instead HAHA. Oh well, it's back to reality now. And work!
初六 (Yesterday) at Aunt Alice's! I wore Warehouse-Inspired Chambray Denim Dress and all my relatives asked if this is a swivelle label..received loads of compliments for it :D I wanted to try out the soft skin mode on my Lumix and all the pics turned out to be so misty-looking..sorry for the blur photos!
Ikea meatballs with cream sauce and lingonberry jam! :D
Leong told Aries when he saw her, "The last time we met was the time Noel forced us to go Hongkong with him." HAHAHA. Okay that's a little too exaggerating cus we went HK two years back. Happy to see her again and we were chattering away about ScarletHeart :D Sis and BIL didnt join us that night cus they had a steamboat party.

Wrapping up CNY with the last gathering at Sis's place on 初二! I went visiting at Leong's house before we rushed over in the evening..was pretty famished and sis&bil ordered a pizza party set from Domino's. Enjoyed the breadstix! :)

You know how each of us has to come up with an auspicious blessing when we pour an ingredient into the yu sheng? The new one that often pops up this year has to be 早生贵子, targeted at my sis and bil haha! I guess Abby is adorable enough to be their 'child' *beams* SHO CUTE <3

Replaying 步步惊心's OST for the 16572th time today and I'm suffering from withdrawal symptoms after completing the entire drama on Youtube within a week. :"( I wish I wasnt so impatient to finish all the episodes at one go but it is too addictive to resist! Go watch it, it is a heart-wrenching yet such a fabulous, fabulous drama. Nicky Wu. Kevin Cheng. Cecilia Liu. <3
Night of 初一at Aunt Sue's new home!
Sis decked in full SWV attire - Lilarose Top in White, Palette Shorts in Orangey Red, Belt! I have been envying her new bangs and I'm so tempted to cut my long fringe too! :( She looks so much younger than me now! Not sure why I'm so determined to leave my fringe long for the first time..actually aiming to leave it long enough to tie all my hair up haha. Decisions, decisions!
Outfit of the Day: SWV Tailored Theory Blazer in Hot Red (Unreleased), SWV Military Ruffles Shorts in Brown (Unreleased). I guess this popular blazer of ours needs no introduction and some of you girls already had a sneak peek of it from my instagram! :D We have manufactured it in a huge quantity so I hope stocks are enough to go around this time without having to hold backorders! :)
My relatives who were gambling for the entire night! It's embarrassing to say but I'm an extremely risk-averse person when it comes to gambling..I will always walk away from the table silently, contented with my small winnings haha! It was a noisy affair especially when my aunts kept losing their money to the banker..Uncle Hensley!! :O
Dear drove over once I reached home and brought me out for supper! Most of the eateries were closed on the first day of cny and I didnt feel like settling for roti pratas..after driving around, we stopped at Sunray Cafe for waffles and ice-cream! :) Love the time spent together with him even though it was a short night :) Time to curb that ferocious appeitite of mine though!
Ending off with two awkward pics of us - Leong still blinding believing that he looks like Taylor Lautner (HAHA) and me stoning as usual while waiting for our food to be served! Dined at MOF two days in a row as we are developing a perpetual craving for cha soba every now and then. Cha Soba + Salmon Sashimi + Hot Green Tea = Bliss. <3

Prosperous CNY!

恭喜发财! 龙马精神! 财源广进! 花开富贵! These are just a few out of the looong string of festive phrases which I wished my mum this morning till she went "okay that's enough!" HAHA :D I'm back from house-visiting for the day and setting off to our next destination in the evening! Mine usually ends pretty fast as my maternal side consists of only four small families :)

Great view from KC's office. Woke up early that morning for our appointment with him to discuss in detail regarding our new dotcom website. Dear and I thought of a truckload of new ideas which we are really eager to put them into action and we hope that the new shopping experience will be much more efficient yet still personalised at the same time. :)

If you wonder what i've been busy with besides being up to my neck with our last cny collection...it's helping Leong at Acuere! Allan is currently in Taiwan so i'll be the counter girl till next Thursday! Glad that I'm able to be of some help cus business is really brisk and Leong seems so busy from day to night!
Our rare break and Dear went out to buy his favourite mozzarella cheese bun for me <3 Tutored a pair of impish brothers before that and I took a liking to them instantly even though they were so playful! So tough to get kids to sit down and listen nowadays!
Wendy's at 10pm! We have been eating fast food everyday after work at the tuition centre. :S
Leong finally upgraded his phone to IP4! His version3 has been functioning like a stalled car so i accompanied him to renew his contract and get a new phone for himself. Lol why do i have a bad feeling that he's gonna start ignoring me again -_-" Okie gotta scoot off to dress up again. Have a fab 初一! :D

Fine Plans Ahead

Pardon the lack of updates as I've been beezy like a bee over the week! : ( Office-viewing trips, photoshoot, dinners, making arrangements for our last cny collection..Have to wake up at 7am for an appointment with a website designing company tomorrow too. (Those who have emailed me, I'll get back to you asap!) I'm already counting down to my self-claimed one week holiday next week :D
Before the random snippets, I'll address our delivery options for tmr's launch! We will only be offering normal postage and courier service. Usually for registered postage, you would have to pay an additional $2.74. However this time round, you can opt for our courier service at a flat rate of $3 and your parcel will be delivered to your doorstep at your convenient timing! Now you need not fear that your cny apparels will not reach you in time :D:D
Lunch at Ramenplay!
I had Chicken Katsu Curry Ramen with Braised Eggs! If you have been reading my blog for quite some time, you will probably know I like my soup/gravy to be thick and tasty (or spicy). This unfortunately, failed on both aspects. Soup is diluted and I tried to coat my chicken katsu with their daredevil chilli paste (it claims not for the weak-hearted) but it still didnt provide much oomph to my meal. :(
My CNY Gift for Leong's parents! :) In the past, I would buy cny decos for them but I thought i should start to upgrade my presents since I'm already working! And I bought it from Singpost cus of my fondness for the Serangoon branch and its staff :) They are so kind to me that I feel an obligation to buy from them haha! Jiamin had a shock when I agreed to purchase one box so readily...i need no persuasion!
Met Leong for late-night dinner after his work..he introduced me to this zi-char stall and I really enjoyed my meal! I kept telling him that it was a delightful meal lol..maybe cus it was cheap and filling :D Don't be fooled by me though..read on and you'll know how much I've been eating within a mere few days.
Visited greatgrandma at the temple on Saturday..it's her 3rd year anniversary, how time flies. We walked over to Beauty World Centre for lunch at Joo Mak Korean Restaurant. My family recommended this as they ate at the same restaurant last year too!
Korean Side Dishes, Military Soup, Spicy Black Bean Noodles. For your reference, the restaurant is located at 144 Upper Bukit Timah Road, #04-01, Beauty World Centre, Singapore 588177. Tel: 6466 7871. Opening Hours: 11.30am - 3.00pm / 5.00pm - 2am.
Don't assume that those dishes were for a table of 4! This has to be the biggest plate of noodles I've eaten in my entire life and Sis ordered that steamboat-alike dish only for herself! :O:O We were honestly startled by the portions served and Mum kept reminding me not to finish up that ridiculous amount of of noodles HAHAA
CNY goodies shopping at Oishii, it's situated just beside Joo Mak! This shop is pretty well-known for their bread and cny snacks so my family will patronise this place every year. Anyway it was chaotic inside the shop so I was only responsible for carrying the goods.

Outfit of the Day: SWV Lilarose Top in White (Unreleased), SWV Palette Shorts in Lilac (Unreleased). Sis reserved the white piece for herself and she's going to wear it with Palette in Orangey Red for CNY! :D Love the unique dusty purple shade that we chose for the shorts :) This is the same pair which we paired it with Cheers-to-Slits Top in Fuschia for our previous collection.
Office-viewing on consecutive days and I really like the 2nd space! That isn't our final choice though..but let's cross fingers that we can secure the office asap and move in by march! We have so many plans for that space we are eyeing on and I can't wait to get started on the renovations especially! :D
Bad-hair day after an exhausting afternoon of photoshoot. Anyone wants to recommend a good eye-gel for dark eyerings too? I look so exhausted everyday! :( Anyway I managed to squeeze time out for dinner with Dear on Sunday..bought Roselle Tea for him cus he got hooked onto it lol! Back to disciplined Subway diet meals every end of the week.
Outfit of the Day: SWV Springland Cami in Greenary (Unreleased). I've been wearing it so often in different colours if you've noticed..now I'm left with Blush Pink to don in! :D Polyester Cotton has got to be one of our favourite materials now cus it doesnt crumple as easily as compared to most cotton fabrics!
When Leong asked me if I was free to attend his company dinner, I went, "WhaT company dinner??" Cus the only staff in the tuition centre are him, his boss (=my uncle) and girlfriend! Buffet dinner at Shin Minori and that mischievous little boy is Leong's favourite student..apparently he teaches Raymond all the weird stuff like 林峰's cantonese songs! -_-""
Outfit of the Day: SWV Oriental Lace Frock in Plum (Unreleased). Gonna wear it in White&Scarlet for CNY! I've heard your feedback through livejournal comments & formspring so I decided to manufacture this in a longer length for the taller ladies! :) As I'm only a 156, 35.5" is way too long for me so I hitched it up with a belt! Two different looks! :D
Lunch at Pizza Hut, requested by the boy who lamented that he hasnt eaten this for a long time!

I was lusting for a bowl of laksa so well you guessed it, we had lunch at Laksania! :D Leong was so sweet as usual to go along with my food cravings although he doesnt like spiciness <3 Ordered their signature Penang Laksa and he had Laksa Fish Burger! Haha you might be surprised that it actually tasted quite delicious! Portion is a little small though.

Simply Marshella!

Procrastination tends to get the better of me but i finally decided to blog about this makeup post which i've been promising since months ago! Not a makeup guru and my steps are pretty simple with zero techniques so no expectations there huh haha! Still, I hope this mini post will be useful for you girls. :)
1) Avène Thermal Spring Water replaces Kawaii Tokyo as my first step before putting any form of makeup on my face. I've seen on Yahoo News that it this is the the skin sos product most London Fashion Week Makeup Artists keep in their kit for refreshing models' flustered faces. I use it as a toner and like how it set my makeup. :)
2) Staying loyal to Dr Jart's BBCream! :D I'm not fair skinned so this shade suits me well compared to the silver label. Its texture is similar to a moisturizer and gives me a bright dewy look. Covers blemishes really well and i highly recommend this cus it acts as a concealer as well! All the pics on my blog are of me with just bbcream, no powder or concealer :)
3) Revlon Blusher- Shade: Berry Blush. I ought to buy a new retractable brush soon, have been using it for a year! I used to use Softspoken Pink till I decided to try this new shade. The colour seems to be more visible so I'm sticking with this!
4) Marjolica Majorca SwordCut for my eyebrows! I chose BR660, a dark brown shade. :)
5) Laneige Loose Powder. I intended to give it a try and substitute my bbcream with this initially but realised I'm not fond of the powdery feeling on my skin, no matter how lightweight it is. So it acts as a base for my eyeliner now haha!
6) Canmake Perfect Black Eyeliner - BEST eyeliner ever. This brand might not be the most popular one you can think of but you'll be surprised how amazingly easy it is to draw your eyes! I have really oily eyelids and had the intention to 'advance' from a pencil to liquid eyeliner..recommended by my aunt and now my entire family is using this brand of eyeliner!
7) Professional Sebastian Liquid Gloss: Defrizz Polishing Drops. This has nothing to do with makeup but just thought i should add this in as I love to apply this serum on my hair after blowdry. Keeps my hair sleek and shiny! I bought this from Kimage at $40 if i recall correctly!
Dinner at Astons! :)
Don't judge me cus I had pasta!! :O Leong and I agreed to eat healthily during the weekdays and a slightly more sinful meal every saturday haha..okay i'm slowly deviating away from my resolutions how :(( On a sidenote I didnt really enjoy my pasta cus it had too much veggies in it. I want my Spicy Chicken Spaghetti! 
Discovered a new store - Make Shake, where you can customise your own Shake-Ins by choosing the icecream, biscuits, sauces and even fruits! :D You might want to opt for the large cup as the regular-sized is pretty small. Their flagship store is located just behind Gong Cha at City Square Mall, Basement 2.
Dear ordered Strawberries&Cream and I had Simply Marshella! His milkshake is extremely thick and we had difficulty sipping it out of the straw -_- I love my combination of Nutella and Marshmellows and I actually got to taste the tiny bits of marshmellows before they melt, so impressive! :) Even Leong couldnt help but to keep drinking mine lol! :)

Outfit of the Day: SWV Poetry Lace Toga (Unreleased). Previewing some dresses which will be featured in our CNY Festive Greetings edition! :D It's a great outfit for the festive season cus we manufactured it in bright cheery colours this time round..previously it was in Wine, Black & White for the sequined version. Sis chose this in PosyPink for her first cny dress :D
Outfit of the Day: SWV Scallop Bustier Frock in Forest Green (Unreleased). I wore it in Navy to church last Sunday and still resisting the urge to wear Ruby cus it's my CNY day1 outfit! What torture >.< From the comments and emails i've received, i'm really glad you girls love this design as much as i do! I'll see ya tonight at 830! :)
