SWV Office (III)

My stomach is feeling way too conjested after two hours of steamboat with Dear, Carmen, Alex and AhMing (my new quiet friend)..couldnt sleep now even if I want to! Ben got his men to fix the retail mounting bars for me yesterday and I was so stressed telling them the exact position to drill those waterfall hangers! Definitely a load off my mind for this week. :)
Done! :D To be honest, the waterfall hangers are so high that I couldnt reach them so please do not laugh at me if I have trouble taking the clothes down :( For Sis it's a complete breeze cus she's so much taller than me. Sobs the woes of a shortie. :( I am determined to slip into ultra-high wedges in order to reach the upper row! Next it's time to settle the dressing room and the lounge area!
Outfit of the Day: Fleeting Fancy Blouse in Dark Red (Unreleased), Denim Shorts from Cotton On. I suppose it's no secret that I'm absolutely in love with blouses..judging from how I always attempt to squeeze in a blouse design for every swv launch haha. Available in Blue, Purple and Greenary which I OTD-ed previously. Before I forget, we're STILL looking for our 2nd model so please continue to send in your applications okay!!
Left Ikea with approx 150 hangers and two portable clothing racks! I found the tall mirror which Sis requested for the lounge area but it was unfortunately out of stock. :( We were empty-handed for three entire hours and when they announced that the shop was closing in half an hour's time, we frantically grabbed everything, threw them into the trolley and dashed to the cashier. Thankew Clar, Jiamin & Glads for all your help! Muacks! <3

Post-Snip Satisfaction

Here's meeting the virtual world with my new haircut for the first time! Out of everyone who met me for the past three days, only Leong and my V ladies noticed the 'dramatic' difference in length. T.T Serene was taken aback when I told her I wished to cut to chin-length and she dissuaded me..perhaps this observant hairdresser of mine is not used to me being so 'adventurous' haha! I love her cus she knows me so well! <3
Outfit of the Day: SWV Cascading Whirls Top in Creamy White (Unreleased), SWV Paris Ruffles Shorts in Purple (Launched). Headed down to V in the afternoon to approve samples for five whole hours..enervating yet rather fulfilling. :) It's time to work on the retail space during this rest week and get it done asap! Shall procrastinate no more.

Unconquered Heart

Whenever I'm feeling spent from life's demands, I can always look to find that little dose of sanity back just by simple dinners with the bestie. <3 Not surprisingly, we tackled a new Korean restaurant again - Manna Story! My spicy ice-cold buckwheat noodles (Naeng Myeon), for crying out loud, was terribly terribly bad. Perhaps I ordered the wrong dish again. :( Kimchi pancake was filled with nothing but onions. Bias aside, I personally feel Clar's Bibibap was the nicest! Give this a try at 68 Orchard Road, #B2-22, Plaza Singapura.
Outfit of the Day: SWV Cascading Whirls Top in Mint (Unreleased). One of those dress-down and feel-fat days when I don't feel like tucking in my tops in high-waisted shorts haha. Made of comfy chiffon material, inner lining is included as well. Available in Creamy White, Fuschia and NichBlue. It will be the steal of the day for our upcoming collection! :D
In celebration of Mothers' Day, we had family lunch at my house today! :) The entire table held the best local dishes - Satay, Mee Goreng, Chicken Rice, Oyster Omelette, Hokkien Mee, Rojak, CheeKuei and the list goes on! Thanks to BIL and Kor for buying all the delicious noms and Sis for getting those sweet carnations and raspberry tart :)
It's not often that we verbally express how much we love our mums and appreciate their efforts but all they actually need is a simple thankyou for every little thing they do for us. I came across this lovely poem and thought it would be sweet to share with all mums. :)
God could not be in every place
With loving hands to help erase
The teardrops from each baby's face,
And so He thought of mother.
He could not send us here alone

Summer Charm

Dropping by here for a swift post before leaving the office! I understand some of you are still concerned regarding the lost mail case in Feb/Mar so I will answer your queries here! The case is already closed and the reason why I am not able to provide full accountability is because we had an agreement with Singpost not to disclose any further details, as they have requested. :/
Swivelle will be distributing vouchers to our affected customers and it's half of what you have purchased from the collection. For instance if you have spent $24 for your lost parcel, we will be giving you a $12 voucher for future use. All evouchers will be sent out by end June and it will be applicable for use till end Dec. Please drop me an email/comment if you have any further enquiries! Thankyou girls for the amazing patience you have given us and I can't appreciate more. <3
Outfit of the Day: SWV PaulSmith-Inspired Blouse in Navy (Unreleased), SWV Poppy Prep Skirt in JazzRed (Unreleased). Absolutely love both pieces from this collection and I'm gonna keep all colour yeahwhoo! For the blouse, it does have a slight sheen as it's made of satin. Not to fret though because it is not as reflective as what you seen in the studio pics due to the strong studio lighting!
Dinner on Sunday with Dear at Uncle Sam Claypot! We didn't get to meet for the usual saturday dates cus I was too caught up with the photoshoot that day. I couldnt recall what my previous review of this restaurant was but this claypot tomyam noodle definitely got me hooked for more. <3 I won't recommend ordering the fish otah as it tasted pretty blend and it was not spicy at all! For reference, it's located at 180 Kitchener Road, #04-26/29, City Square Mall.
Outfit of the Day: SWV Denim Bustier Playsuit in Grey (Unreleased). Fresh from the oven cus that's what i'm wearing now haha! Kept this design in Dark Denim, Grey and Sky Denim. Comes with a side zip so it isnt that difficult when you need to visit the restroom :) Havent got the time to head to Kimage for a snip so I bought all sorts of headbands and rubberbands to tame my hair!
Sis immediately wore Paul-Smith Inspired Blouse in Regal Green after our photoshoot! We reached the office and to our horror, we couldnt find the trigger meant for the dslr..thanks to BIL who rushed back to their house and managed to find it in the cupboard whew..otherwise we wouldnt be able to launch this week! :O Alright see you all tonight and remember to like our Facebook album for complimentary free normal postage with any purchase from this collection! :D Ciao!! <3

Glad's Birthday

Outfit of the Day: SWV Denim Bustier Playsuit in Dark Denim (Unreleased). Have taken a liking to bunning up my hair lately so you'll probably not see me letting my hair down much often..that's a pun actually erhem* haha! Available in Burnt Orange, Sky Denim & Grey. Made of stretchy denim-cotton blend, able to fit up to small UK10!
Dear accompanied to YewLee as we picked the racks, shelves and waterfall hangers to be installed this week! Our warehouse is able to fit near 10 boltess shelves but we didn't require that many for now..main aim is to settle the retail area first! Ben has been really helpful and i like how their service is so personalised! :)

Dinner at Spageddies with besties in celebration of Glad's birthday! Well i know that's a really weird self-groupshot but it's because the restaurant was critically shorthanded and we didn't dare to offend the supervisor who seemed to be in his foulest mood. Food-wise, neither the crayfish pasta nor side platter won me over, everything was so plain dry. :(
Fang's sweet brownie creation (infused with loads of chocolate chips) is always a perfect choice over the usual bday cake. :) Bought the birthday girl an aroma diffuser (for her to sleep well at night), a polka-dotted luggage and handmade a hello-kitty flower bouquet! On a sidenote, I have been oogling at Glad's 'new' eyelashes the whole night cus they are so thick and long! O.O
Happy birthday to the lovely girl who always cracks the funniest sarcastic jokes unwittingly. :D Love Love! <3

Dinner at Fruit Paradise with the boy last Saturday and the restaurant has been stripped of its slightly messy layout to a clean and brightly lit interior deco! :) In case you wish to dine there, it's located at 68 Orchard Road, #04-01 Tokyo Walker, Plaza Singapura. Like i mentioned in my previous entry, come early and you won't have to queue! :)
They introduced a new menu as well - somewhat westernised japanese food. Ordered curry cheese baked rice and thought it was pretty tasty. Being adventurous when it comes to their drool-worthy desserts, Leong ordered Blueberry Tart while I decided to stick to the safest Nutty Caramel. Didn't disappoint once again. :)
Outfit of the Day: SWV Poppy Prep Skirt in Bumblebee (Unreleased), SWV Westward Satchel in Oakleaf (Launched). Was squealing to myself last week when i received the samples and this sunny yellow shade just sets me off in a great mood! :) Available in JazzRed, Nutbeige and Black. Unfunctional buttons, elastic band at back, inner lining included.
Dear's first anniversary pressie for me! I have been looking for a pair of snuggly footwear for the longest time ever since I moved into the office; impromptu-ly got Leong to get me this cus it's only $5 with every purchase at Body! Sweet and comfy <3 Will blog about our anniversary next week after the launch! Catch Swivelle as we'll be back on Tuesday yeah! :D
